We received an email from our agency on Friday afternoon that our dossier has been sent from their office to Washington D.C.. There it will be authenticated and then sent to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Once in Addis, the documents will need to be authenticated, then translated into Amharic and then authenticated again before it reaches our agency's office in Ethiopia.
This will take approximately 2-3 weeks. And then once the dossier makes it to our agency's office, we will be "officially waiting." How exciting! Although, I wonder what we've been doing this past five months.:) My guess is that our wait will be very similar to a natural pregnancy timeline--just more pleasant for Sierra (and me...did I say that?).
